Generate instant and infinite Looping Lines Animations.

Apply Script

Create a new comp or select an existing comp in any format. And apply the script.

Presets

The presets are a great starting point. Choose one.

Loop Length

Adjust the length of your loop. It can be shorter, or longer than your comp duration.

Number of Lines

Adjust the number of lines.

Lines Stroke Width

Adjust the thickness of the lines.

Global Position Offset

Offset the global position of your lines loop.

Global Rotation Offset

Adjust the global rotation of your lines loop.

Lines Start Opacity

Change the start opacity of the lines.

Lines End Opacity

Adjust the end opacity of the lines.

Lines Rotation

Determine by how many degrees each successive line copy rotates.

Lines Color

Change the overall color of the lines.

Lines Distance

Adjust the distance between the lines.

Rotation Wiggle Amount

Determine the maximum range of the rotation wiggle animation.

Position Wiggle Amount

Determine the maximum range of the position wiggle animation in each direction.

Animation Speed

Adjust the speed of the loop animation.

Random Seed

Change the random seed number to instantly generate a new animation pattern.

Good to Know:

The setup is based on a shape layer, expressions, and expression controls.

Everything is open and editable. You can animate all expression controls, adjust the path shape in the shape layer, add other effects.

You can pass the project file on to anyone. The script is not necessary to open it.

How to Install the Script

Use the new PluginPlay Browser to easily install the script!

Or place the file in the ScriptUI Panels folder within the Adobe After Effects application directory on Mac or Windows.

Then restart the application to access it under the Window menu.

This enables the script to be docked, docked like a regular panel.
